Are at home Doppler’s bad for baby?

I know they can be stress inducing for mom but that aside. Are the actual Doppler’s bad for baby’s health?

Harmful? No. But I’ve been told the babies don’t like it. Mine went crazy whenever the doctor used it and I felt so bad for the poor bean.

I told my dr I got one, she rolled her eyes, huffed and sighed and told me not to get panicked if I don’t find the heartbeat right away. She just said remain calm and don’t stress, she didn’t mention anything about them being unhealthy for baby though.

No, it's not bad for baby at all as long as you aren't using it to diagnose anything yourself 😊

They are safe. I asked my ultrasound dr & he said as long as they’re not used frequently & for long periods of time then they’re safe. My girl moves a lot but on her quiet days, I use mine & she kicks every time because she hates it haha

I read some things while pregnant with my son saying it wasn't good to use them a lot, but my nervous self used it quite a bit during my earlier stages of pregnancy and he came out healthy as can be so🤷🏼‍♀️
