I can’t understand why anyone would want to? Are you really only considering it to help with morning sickness or are you having trouble kicking the habit? There are other things you can try for morning sickness like wearing seabands or unisome and b-6, or a medication that has been tested and is prescribed by your doctor. The little human will have a lifetime ahead of them and no one knows what effects smoking during pregnancy can have long term on the health of the baby. It’s not worth any risk in my opinion.

Not me but my dad did (until it got progressively worse) and my best friend’s mom did during her pregnancy. For some reason, they think MS gets better during pregnancy.

I’m not going to even take a chance it’s not enough medical research behind it. I know many women who have babies that are healthy & it worked for them but it’s just not for me. Ask your doctor if it’s okay.

I smoked every day prior to conceiving. I quit very soon after finding out. Here’s the thing: there’s almost no definitive evidence that it harms or does not harm a fetus. There is a lot of conflicting evidence, specifically in the studies done in the US. Now, with my daughter, I did use marijuana, but only about 6 times in the whole pregnancy. I won’t use it with this one, not because I fear marijuana itself, but because I’m delivering in a state that still very much criminalizes it. Had I been delivering in my hometown, I would be slightly more comfortable, as it’s legal both recreationally and medicinally. With that said, it’s one of those things that people generally say it’s better to abstain from during pregnancy because the long-term effects straight up aren’t known.
