Some mommies desperately want liquid gold but for a millions reasons may not have it. I can’t see charging a mommy for an oversupply that I was blessed with.

I wish they made donating milk easier. It’s actually quite a process (in the US). I did just give some to my friend who’s son was still taking breastmilk but her supply had dried up.

My friend uses donner (sp?) milk. She won’t consider people that sell their milk because she thinks it gives women an incentive to lie about what mediations they are taking or drug use. I had never considered it but it made sense to me.

I would never SELL mine. I only donate. It's hard enough on moms who need it, that they usually feel down about not being able to feed their babies themselves. They shouldn't have to PAY for it on top of it...if you clearly have enough to spare for some baby in need. Just my thoughts...

Probably not. I know a girl who was overproducing and giving to a mom in need. She was contacted by another girl who notified her that the mom she was donating to was turning around and selling it to make money. I would worry about things like that too much.
