What should I expect? I will be 6 weeks on the day of my appointment, and I’m having a surgical abortion with conscious sedation.

I’m worried about the pain, mostly. My husband is a medical doctor and says that I shouldn’t remember anything due to the medications being used, but I’m very nervous. I’ve had a D&C when I lost a baby at 9 weeks, but they put me under general in the hospital.

Will it hurt? Will I remember?
