Question

I'm looking for advise on the abortion pill. How it went for you if you took it, what it was like after and if you dont mind, how much did it cost. I tried talking to someone from planned parenthood about it but it wasn't much help.

Mine was in October 2016 and cost $400 at planned parenthood. You go in and they give you some papers to fill out and some information, mine was in a pamphlet. They take you back and do an ultrasound. They’ll ask you if you want to see the screen and you can also ask for a picture but you don’t have to. They’ll prick your finger to make sure you’re not too anemic. They’ll ask you a bunch of questions, like if anyone is coercing you, if you’re here by your own free will, etc. Then they’ll have you go ahead and pay. Then a nurse will give you a snack and go over instructions for care and tell you what is considered normal and what isn’t afterwards and basically just what to expect. They give you a packet to take home that has instructions in it and stuff. Then they take you to a room and the doctor comes in and asks if you’re having any second thoughts and gives you the pill. Then she writes you a prescription for the second set of pills you have to take the next day and will tell you what time you have to take them. She will watch you take the pill and also write you a prescription for birth control. Then they may make you wait 15 mins or so to make sure you can keep it down. Then you schedule your follow up appt. You HAVE to go to your follow up appt. Then you go home. I went home and slept until that evening. When I woke up I was the most nauseas I’ve ever been in my entire life. I didn’t even want to move. I think I had a headache too. I started throwing up a lot. I threw up and had diarrhea through the next day. I started bleeding the next day after taking the second set of pills. I also had intense cramping which I now know were contractions. I bled for at least a month. I remember I was still bleeding in december, but I was also having trouble with the birth control. I went to my follow up appt and everything was complete. By January everything was back to normal and I moved out of state.

I had one with the medical way, I didn’t feel anything no cramps nothing but I did take a norco before inserting the second set of pills. 
Also it cost me $375.
