Would you let the father be apart of choosing the name if...?

I’m currently 24 weeks pregnant. I found out the father of my daughter has been cheating on me the entire time of the pregnancy and even before .
He is no longer around as I have asked him to please leave me alone so I can take care of myself as best as I can for the rest of the pregnancy. He hasn’t tried to contact me since.
My question is would you let him have a say In choosing her name ?  I have 4 more months and I want to decide on a name sooner than later..  if I allow him to have a say it will be the day she is born if he comes to the hospital ..

I think you guys should sit and talk about this baby and know exactly where he stands. Ex; Whether he wants to be in the picture or not, whether he’ll help in taking care of the baby for life or not. 
Because I think even if your relationship didn’t work out she’s still his baby too... unless he decides not to be there for her then the best choice would be to completely remove him from the picture and start planning on how to become the best single mom by providing and caring for your own child and making your own decisions in raising her. 
However, if he decides he wants to be there for his baby then any decision you’ll take in raising this baby, he has to be part of.

If I want him to be an actual parent to my child I’d at least ask his input but I’d have the final say. Bad boyfriend doesn’t automatically mean bad father

Okay so cheating on you is a bad thing but I feel like him leaving you alone for the rest of your pregnancy is what you wanted? Correct? If that’s the case just because he may have been a shitty boyfriend doesn’t mean he will be a shitty dad. I’m unsure of the context maybe he genuinely wants to give you space in hopes it will ease some of the tension when it comes to your baby. I would try to at least be on speaking terms, he may be a really active part of your daughters life and if a man wants to be there and raise his child I’d let him, but for the name that’s up to you. If you guys come to speaking terms maybe you can pick the first name and he can pick the middle name? The last name is totally up to you. I think the last name should be the fathers only if a man is gonna step up to the plate and take care of that child consistently for the rest of the child’s life 🤷🏻‍♀️ not just 18 years I mean as long as he lives

Well first I’d have to know if he wants to be in the baby’s life . If yes I think he should be included . Maybe give him a lust of your favorites to choose from ? Sorry he sucked as a BF but hoping he can be a better daddy !
