My S.O. Killed himself in my dream

I had a dream that my significant other had killed himself and he told me that he was doing it because he contracted an incurable disease that was eating him from the inside out. And that I was stuck at Walmart doing Christmas shopping when he told me that he was going to do it and that there was nothing i could’ve done to stop him.

When I tried to leave the store, I couldn’t but everyone else could.

Any idea what it could’ve meant?
