IUD and diva cup?

after i got my IUD i asked my doctor if i could still use my diva cup and she said not to. i searched around and nothing has said that you can’t use them? anyone know?

Its basically a suction cup so theres risk of it being sucked out by the cup. I wouldnt recommend it. My gyn said its happened to couple of her patients.

My doctor said it was fine to use the Diva Cup.

dito my gyn also told me not to use my cup anymore. i was actually wearing it during the procedure since I just started my cycle, I informed them before hand, and they removed it and told me not to use it anymore so I don't dislodge the iud
