Should I be concerned that one twin seems less active?

I’m 20 weeks this week with girl di/di twins.  I tend to feel Baby A more frequently than her sister.  Is this a reason to be concerned?  I have been having a ton of gas pain so I have been feeling less kicks overall as I pay more attention to the pain. I’m want to believe Baby B is just positioned in a way that I feel her less but I can’t stop worrying.

If you are ever worried you don’t feel one get checked but one of my babies was more active in utero than the other and they are 4 months and same personalities. Plus my non active one was kind of squished down low. And I also sometimes got them mixed up I think. Their feet were all up near my ribs and intertwined and when I had NSTs they were both moving and I thought it was just the one the whole time. But it was both!

im currently 33 wks and for a long while now I've felt baby A way more than baby B. like to the extreme. im used to it now.  baby A moves all the time and her kicks are so strong I can watch it across my stomach, sometimes it even hurts!  on the other hand baby B is quiet most of the time and when he does kick, the movement isn't nearly as intense as it is with A. I worried for a long time about it, but every ultra sound and visit he's doing just fine.  I have an at home heart monitor so when I got really worried I could at least reassure myself by finding his heart rate, which was always beating beautifully.  he's just a very relaxed baby compared to his twin, no reason for the difference in their movement that we can tell.  in fact he's even a couple ounces bigger than her! I would say as long as you don't go too long without feeling your quiet twin, you're ok. I suggest getting a device so you can  listen for the heart beats.  the peace of mind it gave me was priceless.

Up until recently (right now 30 weeks) I always felt like I was feeling one baby even though I could see them both moving in the ultrasound. For awhile, their feet were in the same place so even though I thought it was one I was really feeling both. I didnt feel them separately until about 26-28 weeks. Mine are in a T shape and sometimes I wonder if I am thinking I’m feeling baby B but it’s really baby As feet.

No need to be concerned at that stage - I didn’t even feel one baby move until 22 weeks. But once she started moving she was the more active one. They will be different in the womb, just as they are 2 different people once they’re born. Once your doctor tells you to start counting kicks (usually 24-28 weeks), if you have any concerns about reduced movement you can call your hospital labour ward and they will usually have you come in for monitoring.
