Before even coming to college, I always knew I wanted to study abroad in Europe somewhere. I am now in my third year of college and will be graduating this spring semester. I already regret not studying abroad and I haven’t even graduated yet... it was a dream of mine for such a long time and I’m honestly heartbroken I haven’t gotten to. However, there is a short term (2 week) study abroad trip coming up this May to Slovenia, Croatia, and Italy to study psychology (my major). This year, my scholarships and loans covered my tuition, with enough extra to cover the cost of the study abroad trip. However, part of me says I should be responsible and pay back the loan now rather than later... I know I could vacation to Europe when I’m graduated, but taking a tour isn’t the same as learning alongside students and community members of another country. Thoughts?
