So I'm in the hospital right now getting induced. I'm a first time mom and I had no idea that the cervix checks and getting the pills in was going to hurt. I've had at least 4 since I got here and it's hard for me to stay still. At shift change my nurse told me my doctor was coming by to do a Foley balloon and I was asking if it hurt and if it felt sort of like a cervix check and she basically told me to suck it up and that I was going to be uncomfortable and in pain and I was gonna have to deal with it. She made me feel so weak and stupid. I'm so upset and I just feel like there out there making fun of me. My sister has three kids and is making me feel the same way. I'm aware this is gonna hurt but am I not allowed to fucking ask questions.
