Any hope? Measuring a week behind with an empty sack

Any success stories with similar situation. Went to the doctor thinking I was 6weeks from lmp they did a vaginal ultrasound and only saw a empty sack measuring 5weeks I guess I’m just trying to look for a glimmer of hope

Well just got my HCG level back and it looks like I will miscarry and it could possibly be ectopic

Its way to early to see anything really. In Canada we don't get our first ultrasound until 10-14 weeks.
Try not to stress about it

I had the same thing but add a subchorionic fluid sac. Two weeks later baby was there with a heart beat!
