Folate or folic acid?

My first pregnancy I used folic acid but for my second I found a prenatal that has folate... what are you guys using and why?

Folate is natural version folic acid is synthetic, your body doesn’t absorb folic acid as well as Folate. Especially if you have MTHFR gene mutation.

100% does make a difference to some especially those with MTHFR mutations which is said to be in at least 50% of the population. If you had the option to choose the synthetic vitamin or a pure vitamin I’m not sure why anyone would choose synthetic. I personally want the best. You get what you pay for
