What’s more accurate?

I know for sure when we conceived but not sure what date to go by and which one is more accurate. Help x

My. Lmp is wrong. I had a period 10/26 but I didn't ovulate till Nov 29th on cycle day 35.. Not everyone has 28 day cycles like Dr thinks.. So I go by ovulation date and figure out when my period would have been on a 28 day cycle and and then ultrasound dating confirms it

I did this a few weeks ago and conception got the most responses. I believe the drs ask for LMP because most when don’t know when they conceive.

My understanding is 40 weeks from LMP for those who have regular 28-ish day cycles so therefore 38 weeks from ovulation is when you could expect a due date.  Your doc will give you a date tho based on the measurements in your first ultrasound so it doesn’t really matter.

If you know when you ovulated then that date of conception would be most accurate. Lots of women don’t know though so LMP is close enough and a good general rule for guessing lol

If you know for sure when you conceived, then go off that.  I know exactly when I did as well, due to temping.  It’s so nice to be able to know your body enough to know what’s happening!

For me, LMP is waaaay off. Not everyone goes based off of sciences calendars. I was supposed to be about six weeks and was told there was no way my pregnancy could be viable because my HCG was low. However it doubled like it should and everything seems fine so far. So I most likely ovulated way late than I “should” have
