Hi all

I’ve had the worlds worst cold for the last 5 days. Literally lost my voice and I must cough 200 times a day. I’m exhausted from the effort of coughing and not sleeping at night due to the cold. The last couple of days I’ve been coughing up green mucus especially when I first get up in the morning. I’m also short of breath and I think it’s getting worse if anything.

I’m almost 11 weeks pregnant and I’m terrified that this cold / chest infection might have an effect on baby. I think I’m going to try see the GP tomorrow anyway...but has anyone had this before when pregnant? What was your experience if so?
