Getting sick and I have finals. What should I do to prevent from getting sick.

Dont drink alcohol because it lowers your immune system and will make it worse even 1 drink. Rest as much as you can, take vitamin c, drink lots of fluids like water, tea and juice. Add honey to hot tea it's supposed to help your throat and loosen mucus. Avoid dairy products which can thicken mucus. Take warm showers. Try saline nasal sprays to clear mucus. Gargle warm salt water. Most important is getting enough rest.

I could give you a bunch of health tips here, but I think the most important thing to prevent getting sick is taking steps to reduce stress, especially since it's around finals. Stress is so detrimental to your immune system, which I definitely learned the hard way lol🙃 doing deep breathing, working in little exercise/yoga breaks between studying, and SLEEP. I know it's around finals, but sleep as much as you can to fight off any impending viruses, and to make sure your performance level is where you want it to be for your exams. The semesters where I listened more to my body, respected my limits, and prioritized health over studying were actually the semesters where I did the best on my finals. Good luck, u got this!!
