I recently started back at work this week after having my son 8 weeks earlier. I’m exclusively only feeding him breastmilk. So I asked to have pump breaks every two hours for 20 mins. I immediately got a sense of annoyance from my mangers I was even asked why don’t I just give him formula so it won’t disrupt the day. Which I thought they would be more understanding since we are a daycare that works with infants. We have a nursing room with a locked door which only the mangers have the keys to. Every time I ask for the keys to go on my schedule pump breaks I always get an eye roll or announce sigh. As the week went on I just started to dread every break. Does this happen to others and how should I handle it.
