I peed on the PH type test stick and my midwife said there were significant amounts of blood in my urine. She sent a swab away to test for infection (she was thinking UTI) but it came back totally clear and no infections. She can’t figure out why there’s so much blood in my urine and where it’s coming from.

For the past two weeks I have been getting increased number of cramping and contractions as baby has dropped, and she does have me on partial bed rest to try to slow down number of contractions to get me to 37 weeks (36 now).

She is going to send me for an ultrasound this week to see if everything looks normal.

Has anyone else ever had blood in urine without infection? What was the cause?
