I started experiencing back contractions on Tuesday 12.11.18. Didn’t realize they were contractions since this was my first pregnancy. On Wednesday my mucous plug came out and it was a bloody show. ( the only reason I knew that is because I called the Dr and she told me me). My back contractions started to increase and I was timing them with the labor signs app. By Thursday 12.13.18 morning I was in active labor according to my app. I had a Dr appointment at 11:30am but had my husband bring to the appt by 10am.

Just as I thought I am 5cm dilated and was admitted to the hospital. My husband and doula were there to keep me company and help me through the process. By 3pm my water has not broke and my Dr has to break it for me. That part did not hurt, but the contractions did become more intense. I had my son at 5:36pm natural without any medication. (By the time I wanted pain relief I was to far dilated). I pushed him out within 6 mins and 2 pushes.

Jace Enoch Iloyanomon was born exactly 2 weeks early on 12.13.18. He weighed 7.5lbs and was 20 inches long.

Although the contractions were intense after my water broke and am glad everything happened the way it did. He is my little angel.
