Questions about Lip Tie

My son has a lip tie that’s preventing him from emptying my breast enough, and my milk supply is dropping. He sees a specialist tomorrow to see about releasing it. Until then he’s getting a formula supplement and nursing as much as he can. I’m also pumping as well. I have a few questions (which I’ll ask tomorrow too but figured this might ease my mind a bit):

How long will it take for my baby to be able to nurse again?

Will it really help him latch better?

How long will it take to heal?

When will my milk supply increase?
