Boy name thoughts?

My husband and I really like unique names and love the name Hendrix for a boy. 
My family HATES the name bc it reminds them of the “Hendricks Gin” 🙄 ... my thing is it’s spelled differently and I assumed everyone would think of Jimi Hendrix , not the alcohol. This rubbed me the wrong way. What do you guys think?

I see the name Hendrix/Hendricks a lot on baby name forums, and it’s #349 in the US for 2017. So I’m not sure how “unique” it is anymore.

I really like it and would never have thought of any alcohol association if you hadn’t said that. I don’t think many, if any, other people will make that association either.

My boy name is Miller. Idc what anyone has to say about it, because it holds a very dear meaning to me. I like Hendrix! I’m sorry your family is so against it
