Disappointed ☹️

So, my doctor's appointment is tomorrow. It feels like I've been waiting forever... Well I called today asking if I should do anything differently for the ultrasound and they told me I wasn't having on. I'm almost 11 weeks, haven't had an ultrasound and was told the first one is usually at 20 weeks. They told me that it isn't medically necessary before 20 weeks and to avoid paying extra money. They appearently don't even do them in my office, they would have to schedule me at a partner for one. That is fine, but I'm definitely not getting one before Christmas. I see so many ultrasound posts from 5-12 weeks on here, I'm so bummed thinking I was going to get a picture of my baby tomorrow ☹️
