Ultrasounds already?

How are people already getting ultrasounds?? I called my Dr and she said she wouldn’t see me until I was about 9 weeks and then we’d schedule an ultrasound.... I should be around 5w2d-ish based on my math. I wanna see my baby tooo!!!

I have numerous early ultrasounds due to having lost 5 prior to this pregnancy.   (And pcos with irregular periods too for dating the pregnancy)

You can opt for ultrasound places in your area. The one near me does one at 6 weeks and can confirm if everything looks okay and can verify a heartbeat. I would just do your research and make sure you want to trust the people who work at these places. They’re not certified physicians or experts, they cannot give you any sound answers. They’re just making money on the ultrasound pictures.

I whined a lot. And mentioned some one-sided cramping, which made them wonder about ectopic, I think. 
I was pretty sure it wasn’t ectopic since they were pretty light cramps and not very painful, but I can’t control what a medical professional assumes and then decides she needs to check on 🤷🏼‍♀️😬.

I see a fertility specialist and due to prior loses they had me come in at what they thought 6weeks but I’m 5weeks so we couldn’t really see much. I go back next week

My dr. Doesn’t do until 12w. The wait suckssssss. My first I was extremely sick and they did one at 8w. Weird how every office is diff.

This is my third pregnancy this year so she’s getting me in earlier and ultrasound next week hopefully around 7 weeks

Mine isn’t until nearly 8wks (next week) but I’ve had losses which means more monitoring. So typically, not always, but I feel typically, it’s because there’s something else going on; fertility issues, past miscarriages, unexpected bleeding etc.

I found at when I was 3 weeks pregnant so 5 lonnnnng weeks of waiting. I finally have my first appointment tomorrow!
