Okay to test w/o fmu?

Hi ladies. I’m currently on the bc pill and just for peace of mind for my partner and I, this month I want to take pregnancy test. My placebo week starts this upcoming Sunday and I usually get my period during the 4th or 5th day of my placebo week.

I couldn’t get a pregnancy test this morning before work and I really had to pee so I did this morning around 11:00. I picked up a test on my way home from work and haven’t gone to the bathroom since the morning. It’s 2:48 right now and I was wondering if I took the test now if it would be accurate? Or should I hold my urine until later tonight?
