Implantation or period

Okay so I started spotting on Tuesday and now it’s Thursday and still going, it’s light red and brown but occasionally clots will come out and once a lot of red blood came out. I’ve recently switched types of birth control and this is my first month on the new type it’s the same dose of hormones as my other pill but now i have 7 placebo pills where I use to have 4. Could this make my period lighter like this? I’m afraid it’s implantation bleeding even though I’m really goof at taking my pill and haven’t had any other pregnancy symptoms.
