I NEED ADVICE ASAP

so basically there’s this guy i really like and he likes me too but i’m not so sure yet. i’m in 7th grade and he’s in 8th i know that’s a little young but it’s not anything that serious so it’s not that big of a deal right? also i don’t know how my mom would feel about it but i definitely want to tell her just i don’t know how! he’s also older than my but only by a year and i don’t know if this is bad or not but he’s one of my cousins best friends. my cousin is totally fine with it but i don’t know if that would be weird or not. i’m really confused need advice! i also just got out of a relationship almost 2 months ago and the guy i like and my ex met at my birthday party and i guess they’re friends now and it weirds me out. i’m not entirely sure if i’m ready for this because i really, really like him and he feels the same but i don’t know if i’m completely over my ex because i know i for sure get jealous still. anyways should i say yes if my crush asks me out?! helppp!!!
