Well, Aloe vera is very gentle on skin and is also super hydrating and usually safe to use. They actually make an aloe based lubricant.. which acts very similar to a water based lube. If I were you, I'd make sure to check the ingredients and check to see that its free of sugar or any products that can irritate the skin.
