Is this cheating???

So my boyfriend and I are in a long distance relationship. After 6 months we decided to have an open relationship but only for one night stands. We only did that for 2 weeks and decided to close our relationship again because we realised that we don't want that.

I didn't end up finding anyone but during that period I downloaded tinder, so did he. He didn't end up finding anyone but I became friends with someone I met on tinder. He knows our story and that I'm in a relationship but I haven't told my boyfriend that I am friends with this guy.

Honestly nothing is going on between me and this guy we are just good friends and I don't see us ever being together.

Is this considered cheating? I don't know what to say to my bf. Is he going to be upset that I kept in contact with someone I know from tinder?

What is best to do? I'm going to see my boyfriend again in a couple months. For a little background I'm 20 and my boyfriend is 21
