Girls, please help me.

My boyfriend and I are on our last leg. I found out recently that he has a habit of lying to me and lied to me about not watching porn (hes been lying for a year). He has finally come clean (so he says).

I felt like I don't actually know who he is, so with his permission, I looked on his phone through old messages. I found this message from Aug 1 2016 and its old, but really bothering me.

For context: Names have been changed. His friend hit his own toe with a cricket ball, and Letty is Tates mom (yes, MOM).

My boyfriend: Tate hows the toe?

Tate: I'll show you later mate. I took a cricket ball to it yesterday and nearly cried.

My boyfriend: 😂😂😂

My boyfriend: What you're saying is you c*** punted Letty and she's a rock down there.

My boyfriend is joking that his friend kicked his own mom in the vagina so hard, that he stubbed his toe on it. "C*** punted"!??? What an awful thing to say!

I'm shocked. This was in the past and he speaks to those friends less now, but joking about your own friends mom like that is VILE. Is SICK. Is WRONG.

I didn't know that my boyfriend would ever speak about anyone else like that. He says joking about his friends moms was normal. IT ISNT NORMAL TO TALK ABOUT A WOMAN LIKE THAT---Is it?

I'm scared and we just had sex and I feel dirty. I don't know if I should forgive and forget---it was 2 years ago. But then...I always come back to the fact that I never thought he'd do that.

Should I let it go? Or should I hold it against him now and break up with him?
