Any laundry gurus out there?

Question

I'm seriously about to burn my husbands uniforms. They're solid black polyster/cotton blends and I'm having issues with deodorant residue. No matter what detergent, water temp., or deodorant used- they come out looking like I threw them in with a bag of powdered donuts. 
Any suggestions? 
It comes off with a damp rag after but if I didn't have to spot wash every time, it'd save me so much time and headache.

I think the undershirt is the best idea. If not you’re gunna have to soak them or spot clean. There may be some form of starch you could use but I think the undershirt is the best option.

Have him put pads on the armpits 😂 prevents the stains from happening.

The few times either of us has had stains on our shirt, I just spray white vinegar on the stains and let them sit for about 10-15 minutes before washing them normally.
Ours aren't super bad tho... Not sure if that will work...?
I've heard lemon juice does the same as venegar also.

My husband sweats a lot too. I spray the underarms of his shirts with a foaming stain remover before soaking for 1-2 hours in prewash. I then put them through the washing machine for an intensive long wash cycle.
His shirts are white, so I can use a strong prewash. But if your husband's shirts are dark,  you'd want a prewash that is designed for colours/darks, and probably only soak then for 1 hour, or the colour might fade.

My fiancé wears tight black breathable undershirts under his uniforms. Keeps the moisture/sweat at bay and helps keep the outdoor shirts looking good and easily washed.
