Ladies who are having boys! Are you getting them circumcised? Why or why not?

I'll start by saying its early and we don't know the gender yet. However, I asked my husband if it was a boy what he would want to do. He has a penis, I don't. I wouldn't know what to do. He said it's easier to keep clean when circumcised. So, if it's a boy, he will he circumcised.

My husband isn't and my 1st son isn't, so my 2nd won't be. It's unnecessary.

It's a cultural thing but over here we don't circumsize unless for medical reasons.
Personally I could never do that. To me it's child abuse and taking away the right of my son to chose.
That being said, I feel every parent should decide for themselves.

I didnt even know this was a thing until i came on glow. From the babies in my family that im close to and know no one is circumcised. Im hispanic idk if that has anything to do w it but never really heard of people doing this to their kids until i got on glow.

My boyfriend is circumsized so we got our 11.5 months old circumsized.  As we do have people on both sides of the family who ended up getting it done later in life due to infection and wished their parents done it when they were babies.  I'm 6.5 weeks with number 2 if a boy will be circumsized as well..
This is a discussion between you and your partner wether or not you want it done... Don't let others influence your decision for or against it. That's your child you do what you believe is right for them.

I would prefer to leave our boys intact, but my husband is adamant that they be circumcised. His grandfather is intact, and he’s constantly having issues now that his Alzheimer’s is so bad. He doesn’t let anyone clean it, so he keeps getting infections. 
I don’t like it, but I understand where he’s coming from. This will be our fourth boy. The other three all healed quickly without issue.

Both of my sons are circumcised. My youngest had to get his done to fix his hypospadious. If the baby I’m pregnant with now is also a boy, he’ll be circumcised as well.

We are horrified at female genital mutilation, but we seem okay to do it to boys? How does the logic work there? 
I don’t agree with altering a baby’s genitals just so it looks like someone else (that is no good reason). 
Unless it’s medically needed, then no way. I have five boys. None are circumcised.
