Would you be upset?

If it was the second new years in a row that your boyfriend was going away on a trip with his friends and not seeing you for it? His friend are older and I don’t know hang out with then as my own. We have been together for 2 and a bit years now and all I want to do is see him on new years but I won’t be able too. AGAIN. I’m just really upset.

No 🤷‍♀️ like I said to someone else, it’s just another day. It literally means nothing. If the shops didn’t sell you excessive amounts of party food and alcohol and tv stations didn’t broadcast new years eve and day shows as well as countdowns to midnight, no one would give a shit. 
Everyone thinks I’m dead weird because my boyfriend is spending NYE with his family and I’m spending it with my friends. I didn’t want to go and spend it with him because I hardly see my friends much after moving away from them to live with my boyfriend, and we’ll see each other the next day anyway. I just honestly don’t think it matters.

I understand this struge..my boyfriend has to be at his family church every year. We've been together 4yrs, i dont like his church so i never go..but if you feel like his reason isnt valid enough, you should have a conversation about it.
