So a bit of backstory first. Before I was dating my boyfriend he was dsting my friend for over a year and she cheated on him. He was so hurt for a long time and he said he would only say I love you when he knew it was real (said this when we were only friends). Fast forward over a year to now, I have been with him for seven months and I want to say it. He says he wants to keep our relationship fun (we are moving forward with it though) and it makes me nervous because I am. scared if I say it I'll scare him. I really love him, and I want him to know. I don't know when to bring it up or what to say. He is so sweet and my best friend thinks he loves me too, I just want to tell him everytime I see him.
