Do you bother doing an opk if you have no CM

My cm is showing that I am not in the fertile stage. Should I keep wasting 2-3 opks a day (I check at least 3)

My CM is more accurate then my opks! The last two cycles I went though a lot of money in tests, both times my tests weren’t positive until I was well into showing ovulation signs (EWCM etc) this cycle I took 5 tests and even two of those weren’t necessary as I tested twice in a day and shouldn’t haven! Anyway, for me I can save myself a lot of money by waiting until my cervix and cervical mucus show signs of approaching ovulation and hen begin testing!
