Did you have a hard time leaving your baby at daycare when going back to work?

I was terrified and so sick to my stomach nervous and after a little over 2 months and seeing the lack of care my son received and the fact that he ended up with RSV bc of the lack of attention the daycare gave to any already sick kids there and just let them touch any infants who were still way too little I quit my job and became a stay at hone mom and my son hasn’t been sick or received awful care since. Please mamas read reviews and talk to other parents before choosing a daycare for your little ones. My son sat in diapers from 7:45am to 5pm when he was picked up I would send 5 bottles and my son was an eater and he would come home with 4 bottles. He was neglected and sure I understand sometimes it’s hard but not a single baby should be neglected at all.

If I had to leave my child in day care, I’d have an extremely hard time with it. I had a hard time leaving my son with his own dad and our relatives, and I trust them completely! Lol Which is why I’m currently working from home now. 😬 I still feel guilty going to my home office instead of playing with my son.

I found the anticipation leading up to going back to work was harder than when it actually happened. I get up and am out the door before my baby and husband get up in the morning, and he gets our daughter up, fed, dressed, and does drop-off, which definitely helps. She loves her daycare and teachers. I have pick-up duty, which I love. I do miss her a lot during the day (have lots of videos and photos on the phone) but she loves her daycare and I feel very comfortable having her there. And, on a side note, I feel that we have much more quality time with our daughter since we don't see her as much during the week.

I was so scared I’d take him back, go home, and never return to work that I literally dropped him in the daycare lady’s arms and ran back out the door and cried all the way to work. For the first couple weeks I dumped him and ran. But it got easier. He loves daycare, I trusted our daycare, and it eventually got to the point I’d be late to work because I was chit-chatting with her about life while my son ran away to go play.

We were blessed that our daycare was so sweet. It was an in-home daycare run by two middle-aged sisters. Our girls were always happy to be there, and came home dirty from gardening outside, full of good food and cheerful. I don’t think I would have been able to leave my oldest with anyone else. She was only three months and so tiny. It still terrified me our first time leaving her. Honestly though, they knew what they were doing better than I did. She often would come back with her previously tangled hair all in elaborate braids and instructions to stop sending x,y and z food for lunch because she liked their home cooking better.

My parents watch my kids for me while I work and even though I trust that they are in the best hands (aside from myself and my husband), I cry every time I have to go back to work.

When my was a few months old, it bothered me & I was real emotional. I had started back school the semester after she was born & scheduled to return back to work shortly after. 
I didn’t know how tired I really was until I dropped her that morning & was knocked out until my alarm went off for me to get ready for class that night. I resisted the urge to call & check on her cuz I wanted both of us to adjust to being away from each other. Plus I trusted the person who was caring for her & knew she was in good hands.
