Homemade Beef jerky while pregnant?

My grandpa makes the best beef jerky every year for us for Christmas and I've read pregnant women shouldn't have it. I'm 28 weeks 😭😭😭

I dont see why not as long as it's fully cooked. If you're worried at all, heat it up a bit like you would to deli meat. My husband makes it too and sometimes it's not quite cooked in the middle, which is delicious (like a slim Jim for those who arent familiar not like raw meat lol) but while pregnant I heat those up a bit to make sure it's cooked.

If you trust your grandfather then I say go for it ! It’s about the cooking process and quality of meat not the actual product of beef jerky. I would eat it 😬
