Today I consulted with my doctor regarding migraines. I usually take Maxalt (category C) at the start of my migraines, but I worried that this wouldn’t be safe for my baby now that I am aware that I’m pregnant. She told me that my concerns were correct and I shouldn’t use it because it isn’t safe. She prescribed me Fioricet instead to take during a migraine and said this was safe and what they prescribe to other pregnant women having migraines... but I researched Fioricet and it is also category C. I’m concerned all over again. 😕

Has your OB prescribed you this? Thoughts? Am I being too precautious and should just trust my doctor or should I trust my gut?
