Is it normal??

Is it normal to have Braxton Hicks at 24 weeks? I’ve been cramping lately sometimes it gets worse other times it get better. Like today I was cramping kinda moderately for about 2 hours and it sometimes took my breath away.

I talked to my doc about this my last appointment (I am currently 23 weeks and have previously had pre-teen labor with my last pregnancy) and my doctor suggested to drink lots and lots of fluids. He states at this stage, the Braxton hicks are likely caused by dehydration. I've been continuing drinking water but have also added a Gatorade or Body Armor daily to help with fluid status. The Braxton hicks have been less severe.

Is it normal??
