Why does my baby do this??

My babies 14 weeks old and he's basically done this from he was born.. it's not wind..Hes on medication for reflux which works quite well.. He dosnt usually cry when doing it.. but he kind of let a little whimper in this photo..

Not to worry you but my son use to stiffen up and arch like this and he ended up having seziures

I read that babies arch like this when having discomfort due to reflux. Especially if he made a noise before doing it and after hearing you say he’s on medication for it, I have a feeling that may be what’s happening. Not a bad idea to run it past his pediatrician when you next have a moment. ❤️

Mine used to do this and it seemed like he was trying to flip over. He was fine, I told the ped and she said he probably was just experimenting with moving his body. He’s near one now and perfectly normal!

Take him to a chiropractor. He could just be tight or misaligned and need adjustment. It could also help with his reflux.
