How long did it take you to get from 1cm to the start of labor?

I went to the OB yesterday and I’m finally getting testing for Preeclampsia as I’ve been asking them to do so for a few months and I got to meet with a new dr who immediately requested labs after she seen the way I was swollen. She checked my cervix and said I am 1cm and I’m just wondering how long it could drag out. My original due date was feb 23 but I think they’re wrong on how far along I am. I am soooo much bigger than anyone else my size and my baby has been a pound heavier than normal each time they check.

I was 1cm with both of my kids up until 40 weeks. Nothing changed. Was induced with both. Everyone is different

The first trimester ultrasound to establish due date is the most reliable.
Just because you have a large baby doesn't mean your due date is wrong. Large babies can be just as under developed as any other when born nearly 2 months early.
So, by dragging on... It can be a while. You don't want to wish preterm labor on yourself and your child.

I was 1cm when I went in to be induced, after 30 hours of pessary, 2 failed attempts of breaking waters  4 hours on hormone drip I still remained 1cm dilated so ended up emergency c section

I was 1 cm for 3 weeks. Had to be induced because I stayed at 1cm. Baby wasn't fully head down either she was stuck on one side of my pelvis. When I was in labor I was stuck at 7cm for 9 hours till they decided a c section was right.

I can't remember which kid it was but I was dilated at 1 for about 2 months.. I think it might have been with my first son..
