Super dry

So I had a couple of pimples showed up above my lips and I used my regularly acne cream and lotion and this morning I woke up with it super dry and tight and it’s all red and painful I am just not sure on what I should do because I have put lotion and vaseline on it but still not any relief and I don’t want it to be red any more what can help this
