Maternity shoot...when you are scheduling?

Question

This is my 2nd pregnancy (probably last). Didn’t had maternity shoot with my first(no time). But I really want this time.
Please help me guide when to schedule one. I don’t want to look like whale(don’t want to go too late) also don’t want to go with small bump :( really confused. 
Please help ladies!!!
Also appreciate if you give some casual maternity shoot ideas.

Im hoping to do one in April with the cherry blossoms outside. I’d be 37 ish weeks at that time. Want to wear a flow long dress and dress my boys up in simple solid color button up shirts.

I’m doing them around 26 weeks because that’s just how the timing is working out with our mini vacation ... but I’ve read that around 30 weeks is a good time. As long as you have some bump I think they’ll be great whenever you feel best!

I’m looking to do mine around 32-34 weeks. Just the way it’s going to work out, I plan on doing my baby shower the same weekend also. I’ll be back home in CA for the shower so I’m just gonna do pics at the same time

I talked to my photographer, because she’s busy and I wanted to make sure I was on the books like right after 12 weeks. Because I’m due at the end of April she said early March would be best so I’ll be about 31-32 weeks I’m guessing

Most of the photographers in my area recommend 27-30 weeks.
