Nexplanon opinions?

Considering it, has anyone had weight gain from this? what about acne?

I got my implant in September and I’m ecstatic to be getting it removed on Friday! A month or so after getting it my face did break out but it cleared up relatively quick, so I didn’t have an issue with that. I did have a couple periods that lasted about 14-18 days, but there were very very light. The issue that I’ve had with the nexplanon and why I’m getting it removed is because it has changed my entire mood. I don’t feel like myself anymore. I’ve had increased levels of anxiety and depression, something that I’ve never experienced before in my life. As far as weight gain, I’ve actually managed to maintain my same weight! But everyone has completely different experiences with nexplanon!

Had mine for almost 3 years so far. No weight gain or change in acne. Keep in mind that the implant may just increase your cravings which can make you gain weight. It won’t directly cause weight gain.

After 6 months of having the nexplanon I had my period like all the time. Like I'd have it for like 10 days itd go away and come back in like a week or less. But its different for everyone.
