Would you stay with someone you dont love because you're comfortable?

If I was in a dating relationship or an engagement and felt this way, I would absolutely leave! There is absolutely NO POINT in proceeding with a relationship if there isn’t love, romantic feelings, comfort, trust, all of the above! It takes all of those things for a successful relationship and if you find yourself missing something either work on it or do you both a favor and leave. Sometimes people make better friends than partners. On the other hand, if a marriage is involved you’ve literally taken a solemn oath before God that for better or for worse, you will figure it out and make it work with that person. I personally am not for divorce over anything aside from adultery & abuse. Everything else I truly feel can be worked on over time if both parties are aware of the problem and willing to tackle it head on! That’s just my personal take on it and I respect everyone else’s. I just know for myself and my marriage failure is not an option. We got married because we love each other and make each other happy and no matter what that is the same energy that’s going to keep us together.

i dont get it how some couples would be willing to stay/be in a marriage whereby only one of them loves the other
Like marriage is about staying together for a lifetime. 
How are you able to stay together with someone you love but dont love you back or vice versa?
Like even if you dont love that person, dont you feel bad that you tied that person to you for a lifetime?
Everyone deserves to be happy. Dont you want the other person to be happy?

I would work on my marriage instead of just giving up. My devotion is for life and I don't take that lightly. And I know my husband views it the same way I do. Marriage is hard. It's not always butterflies and roses. You have to work for the things that are worthwhile. And he's worth whatever we go through together.

I did for about 4 months because I was afraid of being alone and didn’t want to change things. The relationship was pretty toxic for us both, though, so I eventually gathered the courage to leave. It’s hard to step out of the comfort zone you’ve been in for a while (we were together for 2 years), but I feel a lot happier for it.
