What does your boyfriend do when you’re sick?

I’ve been sick for a few days and it’s really been making me feel depressed on top of everything because I hate feeling vulnerable. The first thing my boyfriend says when I told him I’m sick is “oh I’m not coming over then cause I’m not tryna get sick.”

No “oh I’m sorry” “aw hope u feel better”

I feel like if you love someone you should want to comfort them more than you care about getting yourself sick. When our positions were reversed a few weeks ago I asked him if there was anything I could do or bring him. My instinct is to care for him and his is to protect himself. Is he too selfish or do you think it’s normal?
