LAKE HOUSE ADVICE

so I’m looking to buy a lake house, or maybe build my own. There are a couple for sale around me but one lake has a lot of grass in it and is mostly dried up. I want one wear I can ride a boat in it. I can’t find a house for sale with a lake. What do I do?.
