When to announce...

How long is everyone waiting to announce their pregnancy? We’re 6w 2d. Planning on waiting until 12w, although I’m so impatient and excited. Our parents know now, and we’re waiting until after our 8w appointment to tell our siblings.

We told immediate family on Christmas, and telling everyone else in mid February when I’ll be almost 13w.

I think i am 7 weeks and 4 days today. I have an ultrasound appt on Monday to confirm. But Valentines Day is my plan! By then i will be 12-13 weeks and it just sounds like a cute idea.

We told our families before Christmas at 5-6 weeks, we also told one or two very close friends at the same time, and we’ll announce at work and the rest of our friends around 12 weeks or so 🤞🏻

We announced at 9week with my daughter after our first ultrasound appointment & seen either thing was well. This time I think we may wait until 12weeks. I was in a very bad head on collision a few weeks ago & had a stay in the trauma center, so I’m unfortunately still at risk of possible miscarriage. So I think we are gonna wait and much as I hate keeping secrets from my family.

We're trying to wait to 12 weeks! A select few close friends and family know. We had our first US yesterday at 9w4d and the baby looks perfect so far! It's our first so keeping it a secret has been so hard!!!!

I’m at 7 weeks. The plan was to share the news around my husband’s birthday (Valentines Day). But my nausea has been so intense I don’t know if we’ll be able to hide it that long. 🤷‍♀️ I guess we are just going to play it by ear and see how things go.

I’m trying to wait until 14 weeks which will be around Valentine’s Day but I may do it after my next ultrasound which will be after my next appt on January 16 at 10 weeks. I want to do it now but my ultrasound from Monday isn’t that great

We told family over the week of Christmas and after that announced to fb. I am 6 weeks and 3 days. I told my husband I would rather people know and understand if something happens then people not know we were pregnant at all.
