Opinions, ladies.. I am due March 10, and my mom had offered to throw me a baby shower, but then kind of dropped the ball on actually planning it...

She checked on places to rent and she wants to go cheap (free), which is fine but it means that the day we had originally planned for (Jan 25th) is booked. They have Feb 2 available which is less ideal but okay, I’ll only be 35 weeks pregnant.

This morning she decides that since we can’t do Jan 25th shes only willing to do it Feb 23, which means I’ll be 38 weeks pregnant.

Now shes mad at me because I told her I think that is WAY too late to be having a baby shower, I’m going to feel miserable trying to entertain guests, and it’s way too short of a timeframe in case I go into labor early, AND to have enough energy to go get everything else I’ll need and get things prepared. She’s decided to just not do one altogether.

What do you ladies think? Am I overreacting??
