I found out I was pregnant on 23rd December. I called my GP on 24th and couldn’t get an appointment until Monday (7th Jan). I told the receptionist on the phone I was pregnant but she booked my appointment in with the doctor. I’ve just found out today I don’t need to see my GP and I could have went straight to a midwife for my ‘booking appointment’ have I just waited over 2 weeks to see my GP to get no further forward. Will she just pass me on to a midwife. Can anyone give me any information please. This is my first pregnancy and I’m so lost. I’m in Scotland. Thanks so much.
