What does it mean to “feel pregnant?”

I see this a lot when people discuss having a miscarriage or a stillbirth. Before having many other symptoms they say they’ll just “stop feeling pregnant.”
What does this mean? I can’t say I’ve ever experienced feeling pregnant in a way that it can just stop before any other symptoms happen.

I’m not really sure either. I had a missed miscarriage at 14 weeks with my very first and had no clue that anything was wrong. I went in for my sequential screen ultrasound and found baby had died at 11 weeks. I felt pregnant the whole time.

I had a miscarriage in March. The day before I started spotting I didn’t feel pregnant any longer. The nausea and dizziness had gone, along with the headaches. So when I started spotting I knew instantly that I’d lost my baby. However after I miscarried the symptoms all returned for a good 2/3 weeks until my hormones settled down again.

I think it depends on the person. Every pregnancy is different so you will know what is “normal” for you. I think they mean they stopped feeling any movements or stopped feeling sick if they were being very sick. It’s all individual. One persons normal is not your normal. If you never really felt “pregnant” then that is your normal.
